Aircraft landing gears are exposed to high loads, especially during takeoff and landing. Reliable quality control of the installed components (carriers, struts, wheels, brake components, etc.) is therefore essential.

Cylindrical components can be perfectly measured both from the outside and from the inside using our coordinate measuring machines with the Renishaw Revo 5-axis measurement system. Internal structures and material defects of 3D printed parts, which have been manufactured using additive processes, can be reliably tested by our industrial computer tomograph of the eXact series.
