‍At the huge CIMT trade fair in China, many suppliers and, of course, we from WENZEL are exhibiting coordinate measuring machines. In addition to the well-known market players from Europe, many small Chinese producers are also starting out. For companies that need such machines, but also for us as a German manufacturer with 50 years of experience, there is of course the question of the difference.

Let's outline five key arguments that are important to us at WENZEL:

1. Quality starts with mechanics.
   We are convinced that quality does not simply come from buying and screwing together individual components. At WENZEL, we therefore have a very high level of vertical integration and start with precision right from the meticulous processing of our granite stones. Every inaccuracy by which we straighten (“lap”) the granite does not have to be identified and corrected later through complex compensations.
2. Quality is the result of the high level of expertise of developers and production employees.
   At WENZEL, we believe in the quality of our skilled workers. We train our employees intensively and rely on a long-term partnership so that the acquired expertise is reflected in our machines. We are convinced that only highly trained employees with a high level of understanding of the entire machine can also develop and manufacture the individual parts in a high-quality manner.
3. The customer's problem determines the solution and design of the machines.
   WENZEL grew up through flexible solutions. Our customers rightly expect something special from us: longer, wider, in a different color. No problem — challenge us!
4. By openness to innovative partner solutions, we offer our customers the best solution.
   When manufacturers offer all components from the same company, this always means compromises for the customer. At WENZEL, we therefore work with companies in some areas that can do a bit better than we do. At this point, we are honest for the benefit of the customer. Our partnerships with the best enable us to always offer you the best overall solution — that is our goal!
5. Sustainability is reflected in good service, long and global availability of spare parts and consistently low operating costs.
   WENZEL machines last a long time — a very long time. We are very proud of this, even though we are happy to sell new machines as well. So that our customers can also enjoy their WENZEL machines for a long time, we quickly provide all necessary spare parts and the associated service through our branches and partners: quickly and at fair conditions. We are looking for long-lasting relationships with our customers

For us at Wenzel, the production of a highly accurate coordinate measuring machine starts with a passion for good craftsmanship. The materials used must be selected carefully and based on the desired quality, not on the basis of the highest possible profit from the provider. That is our tradition and we are convinced that there are no better quality machines on the market.

Five arguments And not a buzzword such as software, automation or industry 4.0? Where is the innovation in that? At Wenzel, we are currently investing a great deal in these topics and are convinced that this investment provides our customers with great added value now and in the future. The integration of optical sensors into our software family, the development of tools for predictive maintenance, the standardization of our automation interfaces: these are all important components of our solutions, but they are not decisive for the basis — a good measuring machine!
