The company from Jonschwil in Switzerland relied on the WENZEL portal measuring machine right from the planning stage LH 108 in combination with the proven WM | Quartis measurement software.
The measurement solution is fully automatically integrated into FASTEMS CNC automation solutions. “With the overall solution, we have now developed the full potential of our flexible series production,” explains René Baumann, managing director of Pamatool AG. “Thanks to the high degree of automation of the individual system components, we are able to meet customer requirements very quickly and individually and record them in accordance with the quality requirements. ”
Since Gremotool customer requirements in automation and individual workpiece manufacturing in the machining industry are very high in terms of accuracy, stability and reliability, the requirements for workpiece tension are approximately 5 times higher than for manufactured workpieces.
The Gremotool workpiece clamp — consisting of a base body, jaw holder, bearing bracket and clamping jaws — measures very complex geometries. This includes parallelism, angular accuracy and flatness of various surfaces. These have a repeatability of 0.005 mm. This is reliably measured and recorded using the WENZEL measurement solution, consisting of a portal measuring device and the intuitive WM | Quartis measurement software.
