The corrosion-free guides of the portal measuring machine are made of granite and are hand-lapped with high precision. The guideways are completely covered and protected against contamination. The controller and PC are integrated into the machine for a minimal footprint. The space requirement is low and the price-performance ratio is excellent. The SF 55 has passive vibration damping and can be optionally upgraded with active vibration isolation. For use in series measurements, the machine achieves many times the usual scan speed in comparator mode with only slightly poorer repeatability values.

Areas of application

The SF 55 can be used universally. Prismatic and free-formed workpieces, both series and individual individual parts, are measured with the coordinate measuring machine in the immediate production environment, in incoming goods and in classic quality assurance.
