The WENZEL SHAPETRACER II is a highly flexible 3D line scanner for recording and processing point clouds on a multi-sensor coordinate measuring machine.
Easy to use | Easy to maintain | Aesthetic design
Fast data transfer | Hardly any surface pretreatment required | Large measurement range
Renishaw stylus changer | Independent use of tactile and optical sensors | Compatible with Renishaw tactile probes in exchange
Integrated into the WENZEL software family | Quick and reliable spare parts availability | easy retrofitting to existing systems
The optical sensor is integrated into Wenzel's software, integrated into both WM | PointMaster and WM | Quartis and thus delivers high-quality, precise and repeatable results. With the SHAPETRACER II, WENZEL is setting standards in the area of digitization. Compared to the previous model, an increase in performance of over 400% was achieved by increasing the measurement range and the measurement speed. By using a blue laser line and better resolution, a higher tolerance to critical surface structures was achieved. With its lens and ambient light filter, the WENZEL SHAPETRACER II works independently of ambient light and has a high degree of flexibility with regard to a wide range of workpiece colors. Firmware updates can be easily installed via the Autojoint adapter's multiwire interface. Since the calibration data of the 3D line scanner is stored on an intelligent camera system, installation is extremely easy. The connection to the coordinate measuring machine is via an automatic, fully integrated multi-sensor interface. The combination of optical and tactile measurement ensures effective work for every application.
