Highest quality and precision for large gears

In order to be even better positioned for quality assurance of large-volume gears in the future, REINTJES has invested in a GT 1200 gear measuring machine and a large portal measuring device LHF 3017.

Combined coordinate and gearing measurement

Die REINTJES GmbH has been a specialist in the manufacture of marine transmissions since 1929, and now also for entire drive systems, hybrid solutions and industrial gearboxes. In order to be even better positioned for the quality assurance of large-volume gears in the future, REINTJES at WENZEL has a GT 1200 gear measuring machine ordered and in addition a LHF 3017 coordinate measuring machine. The LHF is intended to measure cubic components (such as transmission housings). At the same time, the KMG offers a flexible alternative option so that it is also possible to measure gear geometries when the GT 1200 gearing measuring device is at full capacity.

Star stylus system saves the turntable

Gears are usually measured on gear measuring machines with a turntable, such as the GT series. With the newly designed 8-way star probe system, WENZEL has made it possible to precisely carry out gear measurements even on our portal measuring machines in the SF, LH and LHF series with rigid probe systems (e.g. SP80 from Renishaw) without a rotary table and to evaluate them in accordance with, for example, DIN 3960/3962 or even free tolerances.
