Using the active-head function, the fast scan movements are carried out through the stepless axes of the head, while the machine axes perform slower movements. This ensures reliable results even with large extensions and, thanks to the head touch function, fast single-point scans.

The stepless axes result in maximum workpiece access with a minimum need for stylus changes, probe material and calibration time. The replaceable roughness sensor with sixth axis turns the measuring machine into a surface measuring device. In conjunction with the user-friendly WM | Quartis measurement software, REVO offers unprecedented speed and flexibility.
