With the WM | Postprozessor ToolCorrect WENZEL offers an intelligent software solution for automated production control. The module connects measurement results from quality testing directly to the machine tool and enables a continuous, digital process chain — from measurement to correction in production.
The WM | Postprozessor ToolCorrect acts as a central control unit between the measuring machine and the processing machine. Measurement results from the measurement software WM | Quartis are analyzed, deviations are calculated automatically and correction values are transmitted to the machine tool in real time. Manual interventions and time-consuming correction cycles are completely eliminated.

The integrated 24/7 tool correction ensures consistently high precision — even in unattended operation. Deviations are continuously compensated, which significantly increases dimensional accuracy and process stability.
In addition to pure dimensional correction, the WM | Postprozessor ToolCorrect monitors the correction values over the long term and detects tool wear at an early stage. When limit values are defined, a tool change can be initiated automatically. This reduces waste, prevents unplanned downtimes and increases machine availability.
The standard connection to the machine tool is via the industrial PROFINET protocol. Alternatively, correction data can also be provided via an ASCII file — ideal for older or special machine concepts. This allows the WM | Postprozessor ToolCorrect to be flexibly integrated into almost any production environment.
By seamlessly combining measurement technology and production, the WM | Postprozessor ToolCorrect enables production-related quality control. Companies benefit from more stable processes, reduced production costs and sustainable higher efficiency in high-precision manufacturing.
