Wenzel's unique and innovative solutions for gear measurement in the areas of gear measurement, computed tomography and coordinate measurement technology were presented in inspiring seminars.
The brand-new GT series gearing measuring device was particularly outstanding. It not only surpasses conventional gear measurement technology, but also makes it possible to measure parameters other than gears by using it as a high-precision coordinate measuring machine. This remarkable versatility is made possible by the automatic exchange of probes, optical sensors and roughness sensors. Both the gear measurement software WM | Gear and the general coordinate software WM | Quartis come from Wenzel's development department. WENZEL has seamlessly integrated the data interfaces of both programs so that customers can switch between measuring gears and other geometric components with just the push of a button. This groundbreaking innovation is leading to a sudden improvement in metrological and economic efficiency.
In the area of industrial computed tomography, not only were the external parameters of gears precisely recorded, but a detailed analysis of the internal structure and defects of these gears was also made possible.
