Wiesthal / Bad Kreuznach – The WENZEL Group is expanding its product portfolio in the field of industrial metrology by adding the PMS series from Dr. Heinrich Schneider Messtechnik GmbH to its sales program. With these high-precision 3D multisensor bridge-type measuring machines, WENZEL is strategically complementing its existing range with powerful optical and multisensor measurement solutions for a wide variety of applications.
The PMS series combines optical and tactile measurement methods on a single platform, offering maximum flexibility for diverse measurement tasks. Thanks to their modular design, precise granite construction, and a variety of available sensor options, the systems are suitable for use in both climate-controlled metrology labs and production-related environments. Depending on the machine size, measuring ranges are available for everything from compact components to workpieces up to 1,200 mm in length.
By incorporating the PMS series, WENZEL is strategically expanding its portfolio to include optical multisensor measuring systems. The product range includes the PMS 400, PMS 500, PMS 600, and PMS 700 models, as well as the air-bearing LL models with extended measuring ranges: PMS 500 LL, PMS 700 LL, PMS 900 LL, and PMS 1200 LL. The various sizes allow for a tailored configuration for a wide range of applications – from the high-precision measurement of small precision parts to the inspection of larger workpieces in development, production, and quality assurance.
Through this partnership, customers will now receive an even broader spectrum of metrology from a single source. This portfolio expansion creates additional opportunities for companies that require optical and multisensor solutions for complex measurement tasks in addition to classic coordinate metrology. At the same time, users benefit from the consulting, sales, and global service network of the WENZEL Group.
