From Spessart to outer space

It is with great pleasure that we announce the successful launch of the Ariane 6 rocket at 16:00 local time in Kourou, French Guiana! We at the WENZEL Group are proud of this significant milestone in space history, as we have made a significant contribution to this success.

Our high-precision LHF coordinate measuring machine played a central role in the production of the Ariane 6 rocket. It was used to measure important components of the drive unit and other critical connectors to ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy. In space travel, where precision is crucial, we were thus able to make a valuable contribution.
